Lots going on at Xavier

Xavier University in Cincinnati is a great place to learn! Look at the rankings it has achieved just this year as of 10.10.07

03.30.07 For the second year in a row, Xavier University’s Williams College of Business (WCB) Part-Time MBA program is ranked one of the best in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. The rankings released today list Xavier’s program as 26th. The University is ranked 26th along with George Washington University, Indiana University, St. Louis University and the University of Washington. The ranking is part of U.S. News’ America’s Best Graduate Schools 2008. The annual survey is available on newsstands April 2. This is the second year the rankings have included part-time MBA programs.

08.17.07 For the 13th straight year, Xavier University ranks among the top 10 Midwest colleges and universities, according to the U.S. News & World Report rankings released today. The 2008 edition of America’s Best Colleges ranks Xavier number two among 142 Midwest colleges and universities.

08.20.07 Xavier University is once again one of the nation’s best institutions for undergraduate education, according to The Princeton Review. The New York-based education services company features Xavier in the new 2008 edition of its annual book, “The Best 366 Colleges” It appears we were listed in 2003 under Best Midwestern Colleges, then we are listed in 2005 (Best 357), 2006 (Best 351), 2007 (Best 357) and, now, 2008 (Best 366).

10.10.07 In a survey of more than 700 schools just released by The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine, Xavier University was distinguished as one of the top schools for entrepreneurs. Xavier ranks 17th .This is the fourth year in a row Xavier was ranked as one of the top 25 entrepreneurial schools in the country. We were 11th in 2006.

10.08.07 Xavier University’s Williams College of Business (WCB) has once again been named an outstanding business school, according to The Princeton Review. The New York-based education services company features Xavier in the just-published 2008 edition of its “Best 290 Business Schools” We were first listed in 2004 (for the 2005 edition)

03.16.07 Kiplinger’s Personal Finance has listed Xavier University number 39 on its “50 Best Values” in private institutions across the country list. The feature ranks private colleges and universities “that exemplify outstanding economic values and an exceptional education.”
